If there’s one thing a woman never wants to find out about the man she’s seeing, it’s that he’s married. Unfortunately for Aubrey O’Day, that’s exactly what happened. “I was just a seeing a guy, but I found out he was married,” Aubrey told Life & Style at the Verizon LG Revolution 4G LTE Smartphone launch event in LA on Aug. 17. “It’s so creepy, I can’t even speak of it.”

The 27-year-old revealed that her bad relationships have inspired her creatively. “I think most of my writing usually touches on some amount of pain that I’ve had,” she tells Life & Style. “I think that’s when you make the greatest emotional connection with your audience.”

Before this relationship, Aubrey dated DJ Cassidy and was rumored to have dated New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg. “I have high confidence in the beginning of relationships because I expect a lot from myself, and I certainly wouldn’t allow a guy into my life who doesn’t live up to those expectations,” Aubrey once said. “If you are going to invest yourself in all that a relationship takes, you have to be with someone who brings you up and pushes you forward, not someone who holds you back.”
